Embracing a Vision of Happy Work and Fulfilling Life
To promote the employee vision of “happy work and fulfilling life” and implement the management principle of “all for a better life,” CAMEI organized a company-wide team-building trip to Changting and Gutian, Longyan, on July 5–6, 2025. The two-day journey combined cultural exploration, team bonding, and outdoor fun, leaving a strong impression on everyone.
Discovering the Spirit of Hakka Culture
Changting and Gutian are rich in Hakka culture and revolutionary history. These towns reflect CAMEI’s brand mission: to bring joy to life through the design and production of practical, stylish stationery bags. This trip was not just a break—it also sparked creativity, teamwork, and cultural awareness.
Immersive Historical and Cultural Exploration
On the first day, employees visited Dingwuling Ancient Village. The preserved Hakka architecture and cobblestone alleys offered a glimpse into the past. The team also explored the Yang Chengwu Martyrs Memorial Hall and Qu Qiubai Memorial Hall, gaining deeper insight into China’s revolutionary history. In the afternoon, they strolled through Diantou Street, experiencing the charm of traditional Hakka life among Ming and Qing-era buildings.
Local Flavors that Connect Culture and People
Beyond sightseeing, the group also enjoyed local cuisine. Dishes such as simmered pork (“Pao Zhu Yao”), Hetian chicken, roasted peanuts, and sweet kumquats introduced the flavors of western Fujian. These meals brought everyone closer to the region’s culture and added warmth to the trip.
Outdoor Adventure Builds Team Connection
The second day began with a visit to the historic Gutian Conference Site. This was followed by an exciting five-kilometer rafting adventure. Wearing safety gear, employees floated down the river in inflatable rafts, laughing and splashing in friendly water fights. Group photos captured the fun as bonds grew stronger in this refreshing setting.
Strengthening Culture, Inspiring Innovation
The carefully planned itinerary helped employees reconnect with nature, engage with history, and enjoy quality time together outside the workplace. These shared moments built stronger connections across departments and strengthened the team’s overall unity.
